Kbps
Kilobits Per Second is a measure of the speed data is capable of passing along a line and then expressed in thousands of bits.
Key Telephone System (KTS)
KTS exists as an arrangement of multi-line telephones and also associated equipment. It permits the station user to depress keys (buttons) in order to access different central office/ PBX lines. It also allows the performance of other functions. A typical function may include placing or answering a call on a selected line, or maybe putting a call on hold or using the intercom feature to communicate between phones at the same location, or even activating a signal buzzer.
